Facilitated Requirements Discovery Sessions

Over the week we will hold in-person or virtual sessions with your key stakeholders to transform your vision into prioritized business requirements ready for the next step of your project. For larger complex projects this may be more detailed specifications. For agile or less complex products the outcome may be feature user stories and acceptance criteria in a prioritized product backlog ready for initial sprints.

Our team works together through a variety of business analysis exercises to elicit the needs of the team, manage the discussions, analyze and organize the information, and present it for validation, verification and review.

A Proven and Efficient Engagement Model

Our process starts with a session preparation meeting a week prior. In this meeting we define and agree to the “definition of ready” (i.e., what can and needs to be completed) and plan for the week.  The first group session begins with clarifying the product visioning and scope including story mapping and identification of the main high-level uses cases. Throughout the subsequent sessions, the team will discuss and model the possible capabilities and features of the product. In between sessions, the consultants and client stakeholders work collaboratively in the canvases and the models online.   And on the final day, we finish with a session to validate and prioritize the requirements.
