NEW CASTLE, DE. — Nov 1, 2008 IAG Consulting today announced it has signed a global partnership agreement with Borland Software Corporation, the global leader in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
This agreement names IAG Consulting as a Solutions Partner, Silver Reseller and authorized System Integrator of Borland.
Under the agreement and the Partner Business Plan, Borland and IAG will be undertaking joint marketing activities, cross training instructors and consultants and integrating offerings to their respective clients.
Together, IAG and Borland will provide customers with a comprehensive solution from planning through implementation of requirements definition and management software, process, staff development and infrastructure. The integrated solution is designed to optimize Borland’s high quality application lifecycle management solutions for key clients focusing on improving their requirements definition and management capabilities. The partnership draws on IAG’s expertise as an independent professional services organization with a core competence in business analysis and software requirements engineering, further strengthening Borland’s solution with professional services resources across North America.
To make a requirements practice transformation effort more effective, IAG suggests integrating Caliber with IAG’s Requirements Discovery Process, a practical and adaptable process of best practices covering requirements planning through implementation.
Jointly implementing a defined process and infrastructure along with requirements lifecycle management software makes it possible to ensure all risks are mitigated for a successful initiative to improve software project quality and meet strategic business and IT objectives.
