A short (two week average) engagement conducted by a certified Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)® to assess and prioritize active projects, programs and portfolios that support and align to corporate strategy, business objectives and plans.
As part of, or in advance of, your Portfolio, Program, or Project Planning process, engage an IAG certified Portfolio Management Consultant to conduct a special review of your program or project backlog.

The short engagement will draw from best practices from the PMI Standard for Portfolio Management, Lean-Agile Portfolio Management, Business Architecture strategy/capability/initiative mapping, Impact Mapping, Strategic Planning, Six Sigma, Business Analysis, and Requirements Management.

IAG’s Portfolio Management Consultant will conduct surveys and facilitate discovery and review sessions with key stakeholders. We will ensure the projects and/or programs are adequately understood to enable effective assessment and planning. We will facilitate a number of sessions to obtain critical perspectives and we will conduct a number of analytical exercises to augment existing analytics and assess alignment of the initiatives with business and IT goals, objectives, strategies and current priorities.


1 – 4 weeks depending on the number of projects, programs and portfolios.


Selected Executive Stakeholders, Project Sponsors, Product Owners. IT Management, Portfolio Owners, Program/Project Managers.
