Effective User Stories (Feb 6-7 2024)

Effective User Stories is an 8-hour class where we go beyond the basics of typical certification courses to explain, demonstrate, and practice techniques for mapping, writing, and getting user stories ready for planning, prioritization and development.

• We explain practical tips to discover and organize stories with story maps.
• Participants learn how to write good user stories and acceptance criteria with a variety of exercises and examples.
• We introduce and practice using the User Story Discovery Canvas as a way to facilitate and focus the conversation around a story and its acceptance criteria.
• Participants get to practice writing and elaborating user stories using the User Story Discovery Canvas in online group exercises during the session.

This is a short intensive class that covers a lot of ground. Attendees learn more than just the basics, and leave this workshop with a solid understanding of how they can practically apply the methods and learning on their projects or for their sprints.
