(Send us your feedback on IAG's Webinar series)
March, 2009
Thank you, I have to say that the collecting requirements webinar was VERY well done and I learned a lot from it. Please keep me on the list for future webinars. Bill
Thank you so much for the great presentation today; you hit all the objectives perfectly. I’d like to request the slides for today’s webinar and the link to view the webinar again. Thank you so much! Julie
You library has been very educational, useful and current. Thank you on delivering this timely insight to my attention. Naraj
Today's webinar "Inside Effective Business Requirements Documentation"
was really helpful to me. I am a technical writer with several years of experience doing BA, but with no formal BA training. Now that I'm on the beach, I'm working on getting some real training. The sample BR you provided was similar to many many documents I saw circulated in my last position. I at least knew that they were BAD! Woo hoo! Your very clear presentation helped me understand how business requirements fit into project management and SDLC. I especially appreciated your different definitions for scope, depending on role and context. Thanks!
I'd love to have a copy of the presentation to reference as I consolidate my skills. The sample BR template you sent me is also very useful. Thanks again. Regards, Barbara
I really enjoyed the webinar – particularly the last part where you gave specific examples of effective documentation. Thanks. Vanessa
Thank you for the excellent information presented in today’s webinar. You hit all of the learning objectives head on. I’d love a copy of your presentation so that I can continue to review the concepts and apply the principles. Thanks again!! Julie
Thanks Keith.
This looks great! Your webinars are very informative and you are conducting them very well. Thanks again! -Sai
You do a great job with these seminars. You always have interesting knowledge to share. Thanks for putting these on! - Tracy
Yet another fantastic webinar! I have been considering a continuum approach to a number of methodologies, and you nailed it in your presentation.
Thanks for the valuable service you provide to those of us who have been thrown into a role managing developers and BAs through your webinar series! Best regards, Val
Another fine job Keith. This one was, again, spot on. I like the 5 level Requirements Maturity scale discussion. Your comment on selecting a technology and then getting good at it and getting the most out of it fits quite well at a friend’s company here in [removed]. Technology invariably brings focus. Best regards, Richard
Good morning. Now that I have a moment to take a deep breathe wanted to comment on your webinar. Excellent information together with your delivery. I could actually visualize your body language during your presentation. Truly enjoyed being able to work at my desk while listening to your webinar. I look forward to attending many more in the future. Thank you for the information on the webinars. If ever I can be of assistance to you in [removed] please let me know. Cheers ~ Regards, Joan
I thought that your presentation today was spot on. I appreciate validation of requirements communication. Christine

Very interesting presentation. You gave me some ideas that I can use right away - appreciate that. I plan to check out your web site. Marian
First of all, Excellent webinar today; everyone found its content more than accurate, realistic and useful. Great job!You mentioned that it would be possible to get the slides or an extract of the presentation. Is that right? Cordially,Have a great day, Christian
Dear Mr. Ellis,
I am sending this note to thank you for the opportunity to attend the 6 IAG webinars I have attended in the past 4 months (related to effective project management and business requirements definition, and the resource of the virtual assistant for IAG on line resources.
These sessions were very useful in gaining a better understanding of how to plan to get better business requirements, and I came away truly impressed with the expertise & focus IAG has for providing business requirements to its customers.
...
Again, thanks for the opportunity to attend the webinars- they were very useful to increasing my knowledge in those areas.
Kind Regards, Patrick
I enjoyed your presentation very much and found the information quite useful to our organization. Jennifer
Thanks very much Keith! This is exactly what I've been looking for. It's so hard to find relevant BA Templates that have been used in the real world.
There are similarities between this and the BRDs that we have here, but as I stated before we rely much less on Contextual Diagrams. Thanks again! -Thad
Hi Keith: I've enjoyed your webcasts and have found infomative and very time effective. I will take you up on this offer in the future should I wish a copy of your slide deck. Michael.
Thanks for the email I would really like a copy of your slide presentation as I really enjoyed a lot of the concepts you brought across.
I have been struggling to change the mind set on gathering requirements within our organization as we try and follow the model you had right in the beginning and I really don't think it works for us.
This is the second webinar I have had presented by IAG and I have to say of all the presentations I have had in the States IAG seem to have the higher caliber of trainers for sure. Thanks again, Jacqui
Keith, Thank you the information below and for conducting these webinars. I found todays meeting re: Effective Business Requirements documentation very valuable and would love a copy of the slides. I'm currently an IT Project Manager/Business Analyst for a very small company. We do not require the rigor that larger projects require, however, the principle of providing the right information at the right time, and including only the info that is needed, is totally applicable regardless of the project size. Requirements as a process vs. a document was another point that really resonated with me. I'm hoping to be working on larger development projects again in the near future and will be referring to this presentation and other docs available in your research library. Thanks again! -Deb
thank you very much for a great presentation. I couldn't agree with you more on the points you highlighted. Often we find documents full of clutter and unnecessary information.
Am currently doing a Diploma in Business Analysis and running a project in our organization where we are trying to establish a good SDLC process including all relevant documentation. So this webinar is perfect timing. Thanks a lot. Keep well, Corina
I have written your quote on my white board, hope it is read. We just experienced the miss-understanding on a project last month when the stakeholders resisted the work because they did not understand they simply need to specify What they want not how they will get it done. I will use it as my intro to all requirement definition sessions from now on. “Business Requirements Are a PROCESS not a Document”
I would like to the slides from the presentation. Screen shots are a hassle. Terry
Thanks so much, this is going to improve projects here in many ways. Can I please receive the link to the PowerPoint, and answers to the questions you answered offline if possible?? Lorrie

I am working as Senior BA for an UK firm in India. While surfing 'bridging-the-gap.com' I came across this presentation and found it really useful. Your presentation was precise - to the point and kept me glued to my system for the entire session (considering it is well past mid-night in India, it is an achievement :) ).
Keith, Great presentation! I throughly enjoyed it and came away with a lot of new ideas to incorporate with my organization. Would you please forward the slide presntation from today's Managing Requirements webinar? Thanks. Michael
