In this two hour webinar, we will provide a simple process and practical techniques for business analysis and requirements elicitation related to business intelligence and data warehousing projects.
The definition of the business requirements for analytical processing / decision support systems require different techniques than the process and data modeling used for transactional processing systems. For a BI project, Business Analysts and Project Managers need to identify the business facts, measures and dimensions needed for the data warehouse.
Through an easy-to-understand and easy-to-apply process that analyzes and defines the business objectives, usage scenarios, questions and queries, the analyst is able to define and build a conceptual multi-dimension model that will form the basis of the business requirements for the data warehouse and business intelligence system requirements.

The basic Data Warehouse best practices and principles from Bill Inmon and Ralph Kimball.
