Included in almost all of our Requirements Definition engagements are the services of documenting the requirements, conducting detailed business analysis, performing peer and client reviews and verification, and facilitating the prioritization and acceptance of the requirements.
We use industry best practices to deliver accurate, complete and clear Requirements Specifications. These services are typically conducted throughout the requirements elicitation activity. (e.g., at the end of each use case (or iteration of a use case), at the end of each day of requirements gathering, after a series of use cases have been drafted, after the requirements have been elicited/defined for a particular business or subject area)
The tasks undertaken as part of these services include:
-
Capturing the stakeholders needs and requirements during the Discovery Session
-
Writing the Use Cases or process narratives
-
Preparing the various diagrams and models
-
Writing well formed requirements statements
-
Documenting the data requirements
-
Describing the relevant non-functional requirements
-
Facilitating informal or formal peer and client reviews
-
Recording the requirements and models in the client’s Requirements Management Tool
-
Facilitating the validation, prioritization and acceptance of the requirements.
