Agile Requirements using Extreme Analysis
Engage IAG Consultants experienced on Agile development projects to facilitate user stories and manage the planning game.
Just because you're using Xtreme Programming, SCRUM or another Agile Development or Agile Program Management methodology doesn't mean you don't need requirements!
In fact an effective process for eliciting requirements is even more important.
On IAG project engagements with Agile clients, we use the Xtreme Analysis approach to gather the essential User Stories needed for your planning game.
Xtreme Analysis uses agile principles to rapidly gather and write User Stories in an iterative Agile environment. XA is based on three main foundations:
-
First, XA uses the corollary to XP’s ‘pair programming’ techniques by employing ‘pair analysis’.
-
Second, it takes advantage of customer collaboration techniques via focus sessions.
-
Thirdly, XA employs an Agile workshop process of quickly driving out User Stories in context.
