IAG Consulting Offers Free Online Requirements Maturity Assessment ToolNEW CASTLE, DE (October 14, 2011) IAG Consulting, the leading requirements consulting and software solutions provider, has announced the availability of an online tool for organizations to assess the maturity of their requirements definition and management (RDM) practice. The free tool known as the Requirements Maturity Checkup is based on the Requirements Maturity Model (RMM™) that many Fortune 1000 organizations have been using since 2005 to benchmark and improve their effectiveness in business analysis and requirements management. This new self assessment survey complements IAG's formal Maturity Assessment service which provides a comprehensive review and evaluation of a departmental or organizational requirements practice. Both IAG's formal maturity assessment and new online tool are multi-dimensional, evaluating not only an organization's process, but also its techniques, people, technologies used, deliverables produced, and infrastructure to support good requirements. The Requirements Maturity Checkup is a short survey of 40 carefully selected questions designed and validated by experienced requirements professionals to provide a quick yet insightful assessment of an organization's capabilities along with specific recommendations that can be implemented immediately, by the organization itself, to improve its application lifecycle results through better requirements.
