IAG Consulting is an international IT professional services company that specializes in business architecture, requirements definition and management.
The SharePoint / Systems Administrator will be responsible for effective installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
SharePoint Responsibilities:
- Setup, configure and deploy My Sites with SharePoint Workspace
- Setup, configure and deploy integration of Exchange and SharePoint
- Develop, set up and enable other sites, collections, applications, connectors, services, webparts, etc. to meet the site objectives
- Setup and configuration of SharePoint services, capacity planning, governance and change control, reporting, database management, backup and restores, security, system updates, maintenance, and other duties as assigned
- Planning, set-up & implementation of the system
- Recommend best practices and solutions to meet the content management, workflow, collaboration and system integration objectives of the system
- Developing user materials and communicating the capabilities, functionality, instructions, guidelines and requirements for the use of the IAG intranet to IAG members
Network Systems Administration Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer multiple server infrastructure environments, development, quality assurance, pre-production, and production infrastructure
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
- Provide performance reporting to support capacity planning
- Maintenance and support of networks and server infrastructure
- On-site support for users (telephone and remote support)
Required Skills and Experience:
- SharePoint planning, architecture, configuration and deployment experience
- Experience implementing My Sites
- Experience with various authentication methods, modes and protocols
- Knowledge of server and workstation hardware, build and repair
- Administration of Windows servers, active domain controllers and associated services
- Analytical, detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Qualification:
- 3-5 years' work experience with SharePoint (covering planning through deployment)
- Experience in more than one SharePoint environment
- SharePoint architecture and development, MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010
- SharePoint integration with third party software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP: SharePoint Administrator 2010) (preferred)
- SharePoint Designer, InfoPath
Additional Preferred Qualification:
- NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, up to and including .NET 4.0
- SQL Server design/development
- IIS; Hyper-V; Remote Desktop Services; VPN; network, routing and firewall admin; DHCP,DNS services; FTP; Tomcat, Java
- Linux, VMware, email security systems, Apache, MySQL, Nagios, Postfix,amavisd, clam, spamassassin
- Salesforce, Force.com, Apex
- Joomla, php, web design and development, SEO, ecommerce, content management systems
- Service-oriented architectures SOA, web services
