IAG Consulting currently requires a number of Senior Consultants to provide business and systems requirements consulting services on a number of current projects with our clients.
IAG's Business Analysis Consultants provide a wide spectrum of requirements definition and management services on client engagements across the United States and Canada that range from 2-4 week engagements to 12 month assignments.
We are looking for senior IT professionals with extensive business and systems experience. You understand the key issues facing today's development projects. Your background might include these various positions: Project Manager, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Independent Consultant, Project Leader, Database Analyst, IT Management, IT Planning, either in a systems or business environment.
You bring 10+ years of diverse IT experience, and a strong business background to this consulting position. You are comfortable working at a strategic level with all levels of business and technical subject matter experts in the elicitation, modeling, documentation and management of business and systems requirements. You also possess excellent knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and business analysis best practices. You must have experience facilitating requirements sessions and are able to communicate clearly and effectively with end-users, senior business managers and other team members. You have worked in a variety of industries on many different types of systems, have a minimum of two years of experience with one of the leading ALM or requirements authoring or management tools, and have an above average proficiency in use case definition and data modeling. Strong preference is given to those who are familiar with IAG's Requirements Discovery Process.
Your roles will include: engagement team leader, requirements discovery session facilitator, requirements manager.
You have impeccable communication skills, are well organized, enjoy presenting information to others. You are a natural leader and will be relied upon to leverage your technical background and business acumen to lead our client's various business areas through the requirements definition and management process.
You are able to work quickly, understanding the information you need from the client sessions, organizing and presenting it in a coherent and unambiguous manner. The interest and ability to work on short, intensive, fast paced, results oriented projects is a key determinant of success.
Responsibilities include:

Facilitating various requirement and project meetings,

Delivering vision/scope documents,

Defining high-level to detailed level business and systems requirements,

Managing product backlog,

Producing various models to support the requirements and specifications,

Conducting peer and client reviews,

Writing requirements, use cases and functional specifications,

Producing Business Requirements Documents, Requests for Proposal, and Software Requirements Specs,

Managing requirements through testing and release.

Coaching, mentoring and training client systems staff in business analysis best practices.
Qualifications and Required Skills:

Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
